Overview

We're looking for a Junior Controller, EMEA, to assist our finance team and senior leaders by contributing to financial processes and helping drive informed decision-making across the region.

Reports to: Head of Business Control and Head of Accounting & Tax

Responsibilities

• Support creation of monthly financial reporting
• Report on financial performance vs Budget/Business Plan and prepare for regular leadership reviews
• Support the Annual Budgeting process including inputs from Sales, Operations, IT and HR/Admin
• Ad hoc financial analysis
• Provide insight on spending trends and cost-savings initiatives and margin opportunities
• Provide insight into business performance against competitor and industry trends
• Support construction project forecasting and controlling for the group
• Support treasury back-office activities (payments, reconciliations etc…) and credit control activities
• ERP system support
• Netsuite advanced user
• Support Head of Accounting & Tax for specific matters including audit, review of the accounting firm outputs etc.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within Economics or Audit and Accounting
• Relevant experience within audit, controlling or consulting
• Good knowledge of accounting policies and IFRS reporting standards
• Oracle Netsuite experience very well valued
• IT and MS Excel/Office skills
• High proficiency in written and verbal English
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
