Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Junior Civil Engineer to join our team in Svalbard Norway. This is a contract position with a salary of 1100$ per month. As a Junior Civil Engineer you will be responsible for assisting with the planning design and construction of various civil engineering projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone without prior experience to gain valuable hands-on experience in the field.

• Collaborate with senior engineers to design and develop solutions for various civil engineering projects
• Prepare technical drawings and specifications using computer-aided design CAD software
• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
• Assist with material testing and quality control procedures
• Communicate effectively with team members contractors and clients

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field or currently pursuing
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and concepts
• Proficiency in CAD software AutoCAD preferred
• Excellent communication skills verbal and written

• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior internship or work experience in civil engineering or related field
• Knowledge of relevant software programs such as Revit or MicroStation
