Job summary

ByteGrid Talent Services is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist for our Svalbard, Norway office. The role involves collaborating with architects, engineers, and clients to translate project requirements into precise technical drawings and plans.

You will create and review CAD drawings in AutoCAD and Revit, undertake site visits, and assist with specifications, cost estimates, and compliance with codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Technology or related field.
• 2+ years of experience as an Architectural Technologist.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Knowledge of construction materials and methods.

We are hiring an experienced and talented Architectural Technologist to join our team in Svalbard, Norway.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements
• Create detailed technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Conduct site visits to gather information and ensure accuracy of drawings
• Assist in the development of specifications and cost estimates for projects
• Stay updated on industry codes, standards, and regulations to ensure compliance in designs
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders throughout the design process

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Technology or related field
• Minimum of 2 years experience as an Architectural Technologist
• Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit
• Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and processes
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this position.
