Join Our Team: Sourcing Specialist - Indirect Spend

We are looking for a new Sourcing Specialist – Indirect Spend

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and management of the Indirect Spend category with focus on optimizing spend, ensure quality & compliance, and drive operational excellence.



Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Together with Manager Global Category for Indirect Spend, develop the Global Category for Indirect Spend covering Laerdal Medical’s indirect supplier’s

Conduct sourcing events and supplier follow-up activities for services suppliers across the Laerdal portfolio

Ensure optimal cost, quality of delivery, and lead times

Drive cost optimization for the portfolio together with internal stakeholders

Maintain a high level of service to business units and other relevant requirements owners

Monitor and track deliveries of services to Laerdal Medical

Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements, Laerdal policies, including corporate social responsibility/code of conduct, and general processes

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in an economical/technical discipline or relevant experience

Experience in Sourcing and Procurement

Analytical skills and the ability to handle extensive responsibility and high workload

Good communication and presentation skills, both oral and written

Extensive cross-functional experience and a deep understanding of organizational dynamics

Proven ability to build relationships and effectively manage stakeholders

Previous experience in sourcing and driving category plans

Fast learner with the willingness to take on a broad range of tasks and implement improvements

Demonstrated high accountability, proactive, a sense of urgency, and an entrepreneurial approach

Strong team player
