We are looking for a new Executive, Underwriting Operations to join our dedicated team in Oslo.

Your responsibilities

Your daily Underwriter Operations tasks will consist of:

  • Update TIA (insurance system) with entries, documentation, and invoicing
  • Assist with inquiries related to covers and the extent thereof, ancillary, and additional covers
  • Draft quotations and supporting in handling renewals
  • Update databases with entries, issuing statistics, lists and various other reports
  • Gather knowledge about assigned market area of responsibility
  • Marketing activities if necessary

Your qualifications should include

  • Relevant education and work experience from the maritime industry is beneficial
  • Ability to work effectively with standard IT tools
  • Ability to maintain good customer and broker relations
  • Good communication skills – internally and externally – verbal and written, in English
  • Ability to work independently and handle a large workload and meet strict deadlines
  • Willingness and ability to embody our values (Accurate, Bold, Caring and Dedicated) in everything we do
