Job summary

Promon is seeking a hands-on IT Operations Engineer to ensure secure and reliable core infrastructure and platform services. You will run identity services, endpoints, servers, and information systems while collaborating with IT teams and external vendors.

Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, you’ll support second- and third-line activities, document changes, and participate in audits within a Nordic, security-focused environment located in Oslo.

Qualifications

• > Hands-on IT operations experience with infrastructure and application operations.
• • Experience administering Active Directory, IdPs and authentication platforms, MDM, and RMM tools.
• • Server administration across on-premises and cloud environments; basic networking knowledge.
• • Working knowledge of information security, privacy, and regulatory requirements relevant to IT operations.
• • Experience with AI-driven solutions or automating operational workflows.
• • Comfort with documented procedures and change management in regulated environments.
• • Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• > Operate identity and access: administer and update AD, IdPs, and authentication platforms.
• < Manage endpoints and infrastructure: run MDM/RMM, on-prem and cloud servers/networks.
• < Provide 2nd/3rd line support and handle incidents per incident management procedures.
• < Plan and document infrastructure changes with risk and security impact assessments.
• < Coordinate with vendors for updates, vulnerabilities, and lifecycle changes.
• < Maintain documentation and support audits related to IT operations and information security.
