Job summary

Cedar Recruitment is partnering with a fast-growth, VC-backed consumer brand in Central London to appoint an Interim FP&A Manager on a 6-month contract. The role focuses on analysis, modelling, systems and data to strengthen reporting capability.

The Interim FP&A Manager will own FP&A reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, with responsibility for large datasets, model automation and board reporting. Hybrid work: 3 days in office.

Qualifications

• Hands-on FP&A and financial modelling experience.
• Advanced Excel skills essential.
• Experience manipulating large, complex datasets.
• Experience improving FP&A reporting, systems or processes.
• Exposure to BI tools or reporting transformation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own core FP&A reporting and monthly performance analysis.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and periodic reforecasting.
• Maintain and improve P&L, balance sheet and cash flow models.
• Manipulate and analyse large datasets.
• Validate underlying data and investigate inconsistencies.
• Support finance systems implementation and reporting improvements.
• Improve automation, reporting workflows and model scalability.
• Producing variance, scenario and sensitivity analysis.
• Strengthen forecast accuracy and management information.
• Support Board and investor reporting.
• Provide ad hoc modelling and analytical support across FP&A.
