Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical degree or certificate in instrumentation or related field preferred.
• Prior experience as an Instrument Technician is a plus but not required.
• Strong knowledge of electrical circuits and troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with various types of instruments and their functions.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of instruments such as pressure gauges, thermometers, flow meters, level sensors and control valves.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments to ensure proper functioning.
• Install new instruments or replace faulty ones.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities and document changes or updates.
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify potential improvements or upgrades.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working with hazardous materials.
