Job summary

BrightPath Engineering in Os, Norway is hiring an entry-level Instrument Technician to install, maintain and repair instruments used in production and manufacturing. You will calibrate, troubleshoot and service instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters and temperature sensors.

You will keep records, follow safety procedures and collaborate with the team. Training is provided and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Basic knowledge of electrical circuits and mechanical systems.
• Previous experience with instrument installation or repair is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Install calibrate and troubleshoot instruments such as pressure gauges flow meters temperature sensors etc
• Conduct regular maintenance on instruments to ensure proper functioning
• Repair or replace faulty parts of instruments
• Collaborate with other team members to identify and resolve technical issues
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and instrument readings
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies at all times
