Job summary

BioMérieux Norge AS is seeking a Production Technician to assemble mechanical, electrical and optical components according to specifications. You will perform quality control, calibrations of production equipment, and contribute to development of production processes. You will work in a multidisciplinary, high-tech team in Skøyen.

We value accuracy, teamwork, and a structured approach. Fluent in Nordic and English; prior manufacturing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Relevant professional certificate in industry, medical equipment or similar.
• Technical vocational schooling in mechanical engineering is desirable but not required.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing.
• Accurate, precise, and team-oriented.
• Structured, tidy, and quality-focused.
• Fluent in both Nordic and English.

Responsibilities

• Manual assembly of mechanical, electrical and optical components according to technical specifications.
• Perform quality control and tests on assembled products.
• Perform checks and calibrations of production equipment, including accompanying documentation.
• Perform troubleshooting on products.
• Record deviations according to internal procedures.
• Contribute to the further development of production processes and equipment.

In this process, we need a skilled Production Technician to produce these advanced instruments. As an important part of our dedicated instrument team, you will contribute to our delivery of precise and robust instruments to healthcare institutions around the world. Responsibilities:

• Manual assembly of mechanical, electrical and optical components according to technical specifications
• Perform quality control and tests on assembled products
• Perform checks and calibrations of production equipment, including accompanying documentation
• Perform troubleshooting on products
• Record deviations according to internal procedures
• Contribute to the further development of production processes and equipment.

Qualifications and personal characteristics:

• Relevant professional certificate in industry, medical equipment or similar (Industrial fitter, production technician, orthopedic technician, dental technician or similar)
• Technical vocational school in mechanical engineering is desirable but not required.
• 1 - 3 years of relevant experience working in a manufacturing company is desirable
• You are accurate and precise
• Experience working in a team
• You are structured and tidy
• You enjoy assembly tasks and providing high quality output
• Fluent in both Nordic and English
