Job summary

Aker Solutions in Stavanger is seeking an Instrument Engineer PRE to join our team. You will prepare inquiry documents, evaluate bids, and contribute to metering solutions in the FEED phase, aligning with national and international standards.

You will collaborate with customer technical specialists, review supplier documents, and support site activities. Avalid offshore certificate and EX training are required, and you must be present in-office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• MSc, BSc, Technical College, or other relevant education.
• Ex basic and Exi basic training courses.
• Offshore certificate valid.
• Good communicative skills in Norwegian and English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare inquiry documents including Metering package specifications.
• Perform bid evaluations and participate in BCMs.
• Contribute to metering solution design in FEED phase respecting regulations.
• Work with customer technical specialists to develop metering concepts.
• Review and quality assure supplier documentation and update the engineering database.
• Support site work and respond to technical queries.
