Job summary

Diaverum Saudi Arabia seeks an Infection Control Practitioner to lead and oversee infection prevention across all clinic sites. You will monitor surveillance data, investigate outbreaks, maintain records, and ensure compliance with infection prevention policies and accrediting standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Medical Sciences or Public Health, or any related field.
• Must have completed special coursework in epidemiology, infection control or related coursework in the area of expertise.
• A recognized Professional Nursing Licensure from the country of origin
• A Certificate Board in Infection Control is preferred
• Minimum 5 years continuous working experience in Nursing preferred in dialysis with at least 2 years of infection control in acute care
• For Non nurses; favorable to have 2 years of infection control experience in acute care

Responsibilities

• Coordinate infection control activities as directed by the Infection Control Specialist.
• Plan, develop and implement infection control programs for clinics in line with standards.
• Deliver in-service infection control education for staff and new employee orientation.
• Ensure compliance with JCI, CBAHI, OSHA, CDC, and MOH regulations.
• Maintain comprehensive records for infection control and report monthly to relevant leaders.
• Collaborate with Administrative and Medical Staff to maintain patient care standards related to infection control.
