Job summary

EliteService Staffing is seeking an Industrial Alpinist to perform high-elevation tasks on bridges, towers and industrial buildings in Bergen, Norway. This role is physically demanding and requires fitness, safety awareness, and the ability to work in challenging weather and confined spaces.

The position is temporary with potential for permanent placement. Accommodation is provided during temporary assignments, and visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.

Job description

As an Industrial Alpinist you will be responsible for performing various tasks at great heights in challenging and sometimes remote environments You will use specialized equipment and techniques to access and work on structures such as bridges towers and industrial buildings This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of fitness and mental focus.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely perform tasks at heights using ropes harnesses and other equipment
• Conduct inspections maintenance and repairs on various structures
• Install or dismantle structures and equipment
• Carry out cleaning or painting jobs at elevated levels
• Communicate effectively with team members and adhere to safety protocols at all times
• Complete administrative tasks such as maintaining records of work done
• Continuously develop skills and knowledge in the field of industrial alpinism

Requirements

• Physically fit with no fear of heights
• Ability to work in challenging weather conditions
• Willingness to travel for temporary assignments in different locations
• Comfortable working in confined spaces or on steep slopes
• Proficient in using tools and equipment related to industrial alpinism
• Basic understanding of safety regulations and procedures
• Good communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent

Salary 1600$ per month negotiable based on experience
