Job summary

CIS Moss is seeking a dedicated Norwegian Teacher to join our specialist team. This 50% temporary position covers a staff absence for the 2026-27 school year, with potential to increase and become permanent depending on school needs.

You will support students’ academic and social development within the IB framework, delivering high-quality Norwegian instruction and collaborating with grade-level teams in an international IB school environment.

Qualifications

• Norwegian language teaching qualifications (30 credits) required.
• Excellent English and Norwegian language skills.
• Valid police certificate required before starting.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within grade-level teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Norwegian language instruction.
• Differentiate to meet diverse learning needs.
• Plan and document learning through Unit Planners and Weekly Planners.
• Maintain assessment records and required documentation.
• Communicate professionally with parents and colleagues.
• Engage in IB certification and continued professional development.
