Job description

Hyundai Motor Norway (HMN) is looking for a new colleague for the position of Business Controller in the Department of Finance.

In this role, you will support all HMN departments with cost management through financial planning, forecasting and cost centre reporting.

You will be a part of a skilled Finance team consisting of 5 colleagues and report directly to the Finance Manager.

This is an important role in a smaller subsidiary where you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact.

We want you to:
  • Be a finance partner for all HMN departments and assist with financial planning and cost control
  • Improve internal processes for cost centre management
  • Assist with reviewing & assessment of various projects within costs centres
  • Ensure compliance with HMN approval policy and accounting standards
  • Monthly closing reconciliation and reports
  • Assist with Internal and External audits
  • Ad-Hoc tasks & reporting
About you:
  • Bachelor`s degree in Finance, Business Administration or Accounting
  • 3 years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SAP
  • Proficient in English and Norwegian
  • Structured with strong numeracy and analytical skills
  • Accuracy and organized approach on issues
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to recognize process improvement opportunities and implement change
  • Team player
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise
  • Accurate and thorough data management
