Job description

AXTech is a dynamic and ambitious engineering company specialized in tailor-made heavy lifting and handling equipment for marine and offshore industries. Many of AXTech’s products are hydraulically driven. The complexity varies from simple cylinder systems to primary and secondary controlled motor systems for wave compensated winches. We believe we can offer the region’s most exciting hydraulic engineering challenges, and we need a person with a background in engineering and design of hydraulic systems.

The following main tasks associated with the position:

  • Develop and engineering hydraulic systems
  • Winch design (Open & Closed loop)
  • Passive energy systems
  • Lifting & Handling systems
  • Active & Passive heave compensation systems
  • Advanced hydraulic machinery
  • Purchasing of hydraulic equipment and components
  • Communication with customers and suppliers
  • Contribute to the testing and commissioning of our products worldwide

Qualifications:

  • B. Sc / M.Sc in hydraulic engineering, mechanical engineering or other relevant disciplines, relevant work experience can substitute for a lack of formal education.
  • Min. 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience from relevant industry and technologies is an advantage
  • Positive and solution-oriented mindset
  • Team player and willing to learn
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
