Job summary

Howden Group in London seeks a Risk Associate to support Risk Operations and maintain the ERM framework across pillars of the business. You will manage the Risk and Control Register, contribute to risk outputs, and assist with governance matters such as policy schedules and risk assessments.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, written communication, and presentation skills.
• Solid understanding of risk management processes and frameworks.
• Ability to engage effectively with multiple stakeholders across all levels.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Senior Risk Manager in producing and communicating the annual ERM plan.
• Managing assigned risk assessments and projects, contributing to others as required.
• Supporting the ERM Team in reporting processes on key plans, projects, and initiatives, as well as managing stakeholder expectations and escalating issues and concerns promptly.
• Directing and supporting the embedding of risk management activities across key change initiatives, including acquisitions.
• Ensuring the Risk and Control Register remains live and accurate.
• Supporting Risk Business Partners across the organisation.
• Supporting the production of high-quality risk management information and reports.
• Assisting with ongoing administrative tasks as needed.
