Job summary

Spektrum is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the NATO Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) operations near Oslo, Norway. You will design, implement, and maintain hybrid networks and ensure secure connectivity between on‑premises and cloud environments.

Role requires 2+ years in systems engineering, strong TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing and switching, plus experience with Cisco/Juniper/Fortinet devices and VPNs. NATO security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with network design, implementation and secure connectivity.
• Knowledge of on-premises to cloud networking and monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with security configurations and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain hybrid and federated networking;
• Ensure secure connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments;
• Outputs: resilient and secure network architectures;
• Documented network and security configurations;
• Network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds and Wireshark;
• Firmware upgrades, configuration management, and performance dashboards.
