Job summary

Spektrum is seeking a seasoned Java/Full‑stack developer to maintain and modernise NEC CCIS GIS components. You will work across client/server layers using Java EE, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, with a focus on GIS web capabilities and integration to external systems.

On-site at the NEC CCIS System Support Centre in Kolsås near Oslo, you will join a NATO‑focused team, deliver unit tests, and extend ExtJS/LuciadRIA components. NATO Secret clearance and English proficiency preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience with Java and Java EE.
• Strong experience with web technologies (HTML5, CSS/SASS, JavaScript, WebSockets).
• Functional professional English (NATO SLP 3333).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and extend the NEC CCIS client/server solution using Java (EE), JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Deliver full‑stack development for the web client, with focus on the GIS.
• Develop server‑side functionality in Java EE, including interfaces to external systems.
• Write and maintain unit tests and automated tests for web applications.
• Extend existing ExtJS components or develop new ones to meet requirements.
