Job summary

NOBA Bank Group is hiring a Data Engineer in Oslo/Stockholm to design, build, and maintain data pipelines and models for analytics and reporting. You will collaborate with data, analytics, and business stakeholders to translate needs into scalable data solutions and own end-to-end delivery.

The role offers a hybrid working model with two in-office days, and opportunities to grow in data engineering with modern Databricks and Azure data stack technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data engineering, computer science, or related field is required.
• Fluency in English and either Swedish or Norwegian.
• Production experience with Databricks and dbt.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and ETL/ELT processes.
• Experience with data modelling (dimensional modelling, medallion architectures).
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure data stack.
• Solid understanding of version control and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Databricks and dbt.
• Develop and maintain data models for analytics and reporting.
• Ingest new data sources and transform data from ingestion to consumption.
• Optimize pipeline performance, scalability, and cost.
• Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver data that meets real needs.
• Ensure data quality, security, and compliance across the lifecycle.
• Document solutions and contribute to best practices.
