Job summary

Topline Heating & Air is seeking an eager and enthusiastic entry-level Residential HVAC Install Helper to support the Lead installer on the job. This role is part of a 5 star family atmosphere and offers growth opportunities, training, and a clear path to develop HVAC skills.

You will assist with equipment removal and installation, duct work, refrigerant handling, and related tasks, while learning install methods from the Lead Installer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Demonstrate mental aptitude and physical ability to perform duties.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to climb in attics, under houses and in box trucks in extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Installer with installation and related tasks including removal, duct work, gas pressures and temperatures, venting, refrigerant handling and charging.
• Load trucks with materials, tools, and equipment as instructed by the Lead Installer.
• Learn proper install methods from Install Lead.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Lead Installer in carrying out full HVAC installation skills such as: equipment removal and installation of new, duct repair and/or replacement (fiberglass, flex, and metal), soldering, venting flues, refrigerant leak detection, and charging, recovering and reclaiming refrigerant, measuring refrigeration system parameters (gas pressures and temperatures, etc.), calculating static and CFM delivery, carrying out basic plumbing and electrical skills.
• Load trucks with materials, tools, and equipment as instructed by Lead Installer.
• Learn proper install methods from Install Lead.

Nice to Haves:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17-$20 an hour
