Shape the Future of HR Technology in Jotun A/S. We are looking for an HR Systems Manager to oversee our global portfolio of HR systems in Jotun. As our new HR Systems Manager, you will be at the heart of Jotun’s global HR technology landscape, ensuring that our systems operate effectively and deliver value across the organization.

At Jotun, Workday is our core global HR management system (HRMS). In this role, you will lead a team of solution architects and collaborate closely with HR business owners to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our HRMS landscape. A key focus will be ensuring alignment between global, regional, and local HR systems and business requirements—driving consistency, integration, and value across the organization.

The position will be in Group IT, located at our head office in Sandefjord, Norway.

Your Responsibilities

HR Technology Landscape: Maintain a deep understanding of HR technology landscape in Jotun and core HR processes by knowing how various systems – from talent acquisition to payroll and performance management – interact and support business goals.

Support Regional and Local initiatives: Be the primary contact person for all HR-related systems by recommending solutions that best fit specific needs locally or regionally, while ensuring alignment with global tools and standards.

HRMS User Adoption: Collaborate closely with both HR business owners, a project manager and lead a team of solution architects to make HRMS successful and fit-for-purpose.

Ensure HR Compliance: Promote safe and secure information sharing across platforms as well as recognizing differences across countries to ensure compliance with GDPR and data protection standards.

Stay Ahead of the Curve: Continuously update your expertise by engaging with external stakeholders and professional networks, ensuring the organization benefits from the latest trends and developments in HR technology.

What We Look For

Formal Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a degree in HR with a strong interest in technology

  • Essential with a solid understanding of global HR processes and experience with translating these into efficient and robust digital services.

  • Proven experience managing HR platforms in an international environment – experience with Workday is preferable, but familiarity with other HRM systems is also highly relevant

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to guide cross-functional teams and support decision-making

  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest technologies and best practices

  • Experience leading projects and cross-functional teams

  • Fluent English skills both written and spoken

  • Travelling is occasionally required for this position
