High Voltage EV Component Remanufacturing Technician

Location:Oslo, Norway

EV Hub AS is seeking a highly motivated and skilledHigh Voltage Component Remanufacturing Technicianto join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for the electric vehicle industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and remanufacture a wide range of high-voltage components for electric vehicles, including PTC heaters, DC/DC converters, onboard chargers, and AC/air suspension compressors, Steering rack (excluding HV batteries and drive units).
  • Troubleshoot and repair faulty components using electrical and mechanical principles, following established procedures.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and work independently when required, proactively identifying and addressing issues.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment, learning from senior technicians and contributing to continuous improvement.
  • Assist in research and development projects by applying reverse engineering principles under the guidance of senior technicians.
  • Optionally support the team in identifying potential suppliers for tools, spare parts, or PCB services as needed.
  • Maintain thorough documentation throughout all repair and remanufacturing processes.
  • Uphold the highest safety standards within the workshop.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in electronics repair or a related technical field.
  • Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in using basic lab electronics tools (e.g., multimeter, soldering equipment). Training on advanced tools provided.
  • Strong ability to work independently, take initiative, and proactively solve problems.
  • Strong attention to detail and a structured, methodical approach to troubleshooting.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • A passion for continuous learning and interest in electric vehicle technology.
  • A valid High Voltage safety training certificate is an advantage but not mandatory.
