SAS - Scandinavian Airlines is seeking a strategic Head of Ground Rostering to lead rostering for ground operations and to drive forecasting, development, and performance across ARN, CPH and OSL. You will coach a high‑performing analysts team and partner with Ground Operations, Resource Management, and People & Culture to secure optimal rosters.
You will report to Head of Production Planning Ground and contribute to operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and frontline support.

In this role, you will lead our Scandinavian rostering resources for ground operations, ensuring the right people, with the right skills, are in the right place at the right time. You will lead a dedicated team and collaborate closely with other departments in Resource Management, Operations, People & Culture, and other cross-functional units.
The role reports to Head of Production Planning Ground.

You will be part of the Ground Production Planning organization and work closely with other Resource Management teams, Ground Operations, People & Culture, and other key stakeholders across SAS. The Rostering team consists of 6 high-performance employees with different backgrounds and located in Norway, Denmark and Sweden. Together, you will ensure efficient resource planning and high-quality roster delivery that supports operational performance and frontline excellence.
Our ideal candidate has proven leadership experience in managing teams and cross-functional projects, and minimum 2 years of experience in operational planning, preferably within aviation or transport sectors. A university degree within logistics, transport or engineering is highly desirable.
