A leading tech company in Østfold is seeking a Head of Engineering to lead a motivated team in enhancing their SaaS platform with an AI-first approach. House of Control is building the future of Contract & Compliance Management. We are well underway with modernizing our platform and are now looking for a Head of Engineering to take ownership of the next chapter - driving an AI-first approach, leveraging .NET, and working closely with our product, cloud, and security teams.
The role is part of our R&D leadership team under the CTO, alongside the Head of Products, Head of AI, Head of Cloud & Architecture, and the CISO. Together we set the direction for technology, product, and innovation at HoC.

Lead and develop a motivated engineering team in a growth phase
Own the migration from PHP/Laravel to modern .NET
Ensure stable operations of the legacy platform while we build a modern solution
Partner closely with our Cloud team to evolve our Kubernetes-based cloud architecture and GitOps delivery model
Ensure the engineering team builds in line with GDPR and ISO 27001, in close collaboration with the CISO
Implement and mature AI-first practices together with the Head of AI
Work closely with the Head of Products to translate product strategy into technical delivery
Build scalable SaaS solutions that create value for existing and new customers
Foster a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and AI adoption
Experience as a technology leader in SaaS or enterprise environments
Strong technical background in .NET and modern cloud architecture
Hands-on experience with AI/ML in production
Experience delivering applications that meet high security and reliability requirements
Solid understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks is a plus (e.g., GDPR, DORA, NIS2)
Background in technology transformation and migrations
Ability to balance innovation, quality, and operational stability
Be a key member of our R&D leadership team
Define HoC’s technology direction and drive the implementation of our AI strategy
Work closely with product, marketing, and the business to create high-impact customer value
Lead a strong engineering organization with real autonomy and influence
Help shape the future of compliance solutions at international SaaS scale
