We are seeking a talented and ambitious Head Chef to lead our culinary team at a prestigious hotel in Norway. This is a unique opportunity for a chef with international experience to not only uphold our high standards but also bring a personal touch to our menus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a kitchen team of 20-30 professionals.
  • Innovate and adjust menu offerings in alignment with the hotel's standards and guest preferences.
  • Ensure the highest levels of food quality, consistency, and hygiene.
  • Train and develop kitchen staff, promoting continuous professional growth.
  • Collaborate with management to enhance guest satisfaction and streamline kitchen operations.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef, Head Chef, or a Sous Chef ready to step into a Head Chef role.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing a sizeable team in a high-volume, international hotel restaurant environment.
  • Creative culinary skills with the ability to adapt and innovate menus, including for large-scale events such as weddings and conferences.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to exceptional guest service.
  • Experience working in Michelin-starred restaurants is highly regarded but not essential.
  • Deep understanding of buffet service dynamics, especially in the context of large events and gatherings.

The location is a skiing resort in Trysil municipality, about 3 hours of driving from Oslo.
