Kongsberg Maritime AS og Automation & Control-enheten søker en Hardware Test Engineer/Technician som vil inngå i et dynamisk team og jobbe med sammensatte testoppgaver på HW og SW i våre posisjons-, propellkontroll- og automatiserte kontrollsystemer.

Du vil være ansvarlig for montering, testing, feilsøking, dokumentasjon og samarbeid med prosjektledelse, samt opplæring av lærlinger og nye ansatte.

Qualifications

• Krav: fagbrev/sertifikat innen elektroteknikk, automasjon eller data/ elektronikk.
• Praktisk erfaring med tekniske installasjoner.
• Erfaring med elektromekanisk arbeid er en fordel.
• Flytende i norsk og engelsk, både muntlig og skriftlig.
• Generell datakunnskap og godt håndverk.

Responsibilities

• Montering og installasjon av HW-prosjektleveranser.
• Distribusjon av nettverk og nettverkstester i prosjekter.
• Testing og feilsøking av HW og SW på våre systemer.
• Noe elektromekanisk arbeid.
• Tett samarbeid og kommunikasjon med prosjektledelse.
• Videreutvikling av testdokumentasjon.
• Kontinuerlig forbedringsarbeid.
• Opplæring av andre.

Hardware Test Engineer/Technician - Testingeniør/tekniker Assembly & Test, Carpus

Kongsberg Maritime AS and its Automation & Control business unit deliver world‑leading automation solutions for process control and safety systems to offshore vessels and oil & gas installations worldwide. We are in an exciting growth period and are looking for a dedicated Hardware Test Engineer to strengthen our dedicated team.

Your tasks will involve assembly and connection, testing, and troubleshooting of new and upgraded deliveries of Kongsberg Maritime's equipment. You will also participate in training apprentices and new employees, developing and maintaining internal documentation such as work instructions and checklists, and contributing to process improvement work.

Responsibilities

• Assembly and installation of HW project deliveries.
• Distribution of networks and network tests in customer projects.
• Testing and debugging of HW and SW on our systems.
• Some electromechanical work.
• Close collaboration and communication with project management.
• Further development of test documentation.
• Continuous improvement work.
• Training others.

Qualifications and Experience

• Certificate in a relevant field such as electrical, automation or computer/electronics.
• Practical experience with technical installations.
• Experience with electromechanical work is an advantage.
• Fluent in Norwegian and English, both oral and written.
• General computer knowledge.
• Good workmanship.
