Job summary

AutoStore is seeking a HW Test Engineer to join our R&D team in Nedre Vats or Oslo, helping to embed quality from the start in our cutting-edge automated storage systems. You will test hardware modules and sub-assemblies, set up lab rigs, and work closely with hardware engineers to feed fast, actionable feedback.

This hands-on role emphasizes problem solving, data-driven analysis, and proactive collaboration to shape robust products during New Product Development.

Qualifications

• Experience in hardware testing across modules and sub-assemblies.
• Ability to run lab tests, set up rigs, and instrumentation.
• Skill in analyzing results to identify failures and trends.
• Experience supporting root cause investigations and validation of design changes.
• Strong collaboration with hardware engineers and proactive communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute hardware tests for modules and sub-assemblies.
• Set up and run lab testing, rigs, and instrumentation.
• Analyze results and identify failures, trends, and improvement areas.
• Support root cause investigations and validation of design changes.
• Work with hardware engineers to provide fast, actionable feedback.
• Contribute to improving test methods, setups, and practices.
