Job summary

AutoStore, a leader in automated storage and retrieval systems, is seeking a Hardware Test Engineer to join our R&D team in Nedre Vats or Oslo. You will plan and execute hardware tests, set up lab rigs, analyze results, and collaborate with hardware engineers to improve product quality early in development.

You will play a key role in early-phase New Product Development (NPD) by turning test data into actionable insights and supporting design changes.

Qualifications

• Experience in hardware testing of modules and sub-assemblies.
• Hands-on testing, prototyping or lab work experience.
• Ability to derive actionable insights from test results.
• Structured, analytical problem-solving approach.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute hardware tests for modules and sub-assemblies.
• Set up and run lab testing rigs and instrumentation.
• Analyze results and identify failures, trends and improvements.
• Support root cause investigations and validate design changes.
• Work with hardware engineers to provide fast, actionable feedback.
• Contribute to improving test methods, setups, and practices.
