Job summary

AutoStore’s R&D Test department ensures quality, functionality and safety by thoroughly testing hardware and software components, including firmware and interfaces. As a Test Engineer, you’ll run tests across the full hardware product portfolio and own the testing lifecycle.

You’ll work hands‑on with prototypes and finalized modules, collaborating across teams and driving test automation, issue reporting and KPI tracking to deliver high‑quality products to market.

Qualifications

• Background in Automation, Electronics, IT or related higher education incl. mechanical/computer engineering.
• ISTQB or similar certification is a bonus.
• Proficient with test tooling: Jira, Xray, Confluence, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Test AutoStore modules: robots, ports, adjacent tech, firmware and sub‑components.
• Prepare formal test specs and test plans with product developers.
• Execute and automate tests.
• Issue reporting with root‑cause analysis and follow‑up.
• Own testing lifecycle; report to Project/Product Managers; track KPIs.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary testing processes and methodologies.
• Improve AutoStore products with system‑wide knowledge, including customer perspective.
