Qualifications

• Requires five years’ experience in the travel industry.
• Experience leading a team of Group Advisors / student and study abroad travel experience.
• Sabre GDS experience is required; client-facing customer service is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the Group Advisors team, handling student travel.
• Train, mentor, and guide direct reports while fostering a positive work environment.
• Ensure performance goals are clearly communicated and provide coaching as needed.
• Provide timely feedback and support to advisors to meet goals.
• Identify and implement new technologies and processes for continual improvement.
• Monitor workload and adjust staffing to meet service levels.
• Oversee all service channels to ensure goals are met; communicate with management as needed.
• Develop solutions to improve processes with management.
• Manage overtime per guidelines.
• Support Group Advisors and travel managers with operational questions.
• Respond to questions about active programs and accounts.
• Review and share productivity reports; recognize top performers.
• Conduct regular 1:1s and development plans for direct reports.
• Assist in handling customer issues; escalate to Director when needed.
• Coordinate ongoing training and development opportunities.
