About the role

As part of Group Legal’s Digital team, you will support DNV’s expanding digital business landscape.

Our team provides legal support to Digital Solutions, the Veracity marketplace, Group R&D, Global Shared Services, and DNV’s cybersecurity business. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of legal innovation within a global organization committed to a strong purpose.

Your responsibilities include advising on legal matters related to technology, software licensing, data use, intellectual property, and cybersecurity. You will support strategic projects, shape digital business models, contribute to contract negotiations, and help manage legal risk in collaboration with internal stakeholders.

About you

Who are we looking for?

We seek a pragmatic, business-oriented legal counsel with at least 5 years of relevant legal experience and a keen interest in digital innovation and emerging legal challenges.

Requirements include a solid legal background (Master of Law), with experience in areas such as:

  • Technology law
  • IT contracting
  • Data protection
  • Intellectual property
  • Cybersecurity

International experience in these areas is a plus, and proficiency in English is essential.
