Job summary

KONGSBERG is seeking a Group Accounting Manager to lead the consolidation of four business areas and ensure accurate quarterly and annual financial statements.

You will collaborate with Tax, Performance Management, Reporting, Finance Treasury and Investor Relations, and support the M&A process with due diligence and integration activities. The role reports to Corporate Accounting and offers hybrid work with some office days in Kongsberg.

Qualifications

• Higher education degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3–5 years’ experience from audit/advisory firm or in-house group accounting
• Experience with financial consolidation and systems (HFM, Cognos)
• Knowledge of IFRS and other regulations
• Good communication in Norwegian and English

Responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated accounts for the group.
• Contribute to quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Collaborate on yearly group tax accounting with Corporate Tax.
• Coordinate reporting of financial instruments with Corporate Treasury.
• Support M&A activities including due diligence, contract negotiations, settlement and integration.
• Identify opportunities to improve the group’s accounting function and use of systems/technology.
• Implement and ensure compliance with accounting principles
