Are you ready to kickstart your career in Maritime? We are seeking a newly graduate to join our team in 2026!

DNV’s business area Maritime is going through a digital transformation. Our core business is to ensure that ships are correctly designed, built, and operated. Our customers trust DNV with access to ships and their data for witnessing and confirming ship safety and sustainability through our inspection and certification processes.

The shipping industry is now changing by using AI and new types of data streams from sensors, drones and automated processes. DNV is at the forefront of this development, using new technology and AI for data-driven verification and AI-augmented processes.

Our skilled software development team has established a state-of-the-art cloud application and sensor ingest platform. We are serving global work processes with both internal and external users by advanced use of cloud technology and modern development practices.

DNV is now looking for a graduate ready to join the platform development team from August 2026.

What to expect as a Software Developer in Maritime Smart Use of Data?
  • You will be part of and learn from a skilled platform development team of 8-10 developers at the Høvik office
  • You will cooperate with competent developers and data scientists, who are creating and consuming new data-driven solutions
  • You will be part of an international company with presence in more than 100 countries

  • You will join networks of young DNV colleagues
  • Part of your training is done internationally. DNV will provide you hands-on experience with the Maritime business by living and working at one of our international stations for a longer period
