Job summary

Harbour Energy invites graduates in Geology, Geophysics, Earth Sciences, Reservoir Engineering, or Petroleum/Energy Engineering to join its Exploration & Production graduate program. You will gain experience across the asset lifecycle, from exploration to production optimization, while working with multidisciplinary teams and cutting-edge technologies.

You will develop technical expertise, take on challenging projects, and contribute to real business opportunities in a structured development

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant geoscience/engineering field is required.
  • University study within a reasonable time frame and ideally at least one E&P internship.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to work across disciplines.
  • Fluent written and spoken English; another language could be advantageous.
  • High flexibility and willingness to work internationally.
  • Proactive approach to learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret, analyse, and integrate subsurface, reservoir, and production data to support technical and commercial decisions.
  • Contribute to reservoir evaluation, field development planning, and production optimisation activities.
  • Support development and maintenance of geological, reservoir, and production models.
  • Deliver high-quality technical evaluations within your area of specialization for exploration programmes and well planning.
  • Identify exploration opportunities and evaluate subsurface uncertainties and risks.
  • Support reservoir performance analysis, forecasting, and resource assessments.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams across geoscience, engineering, and production disciplines.

Are you graduating soon and aspire to understand the subsurface, maximise asset value, and support the responsible delivery of energy resources?

We are looking for talented and motivated graduates from Geoscience, Reservoir Engineering, or Petroleum Engineering disciplines to join our Exploration & Production team.

This graduate program offers the opportunity to potentially gain experience across the full asset lifecycle, from exploration and appraisal through to field development, reservoir management, and production optimisation. Working alongside experienced professionals, you will develop technical expertise while contributing to real business challenges and opportunities.

What you will do

As a Graduate for Exploration & Production, you may, depending on your background:

  • Interpret, analyse, and integrate subsurface, reservoir, and production data to support technical and commercial decision-making.
  • Contribute to reservoir evaluation, field development planning, and production optimisation activities.
  • Support the development and maintenance of geological, reservoir, and production models.
  • Deliver high-quality technical evaluations within your area of specialisation to support exploration programmes, licensing rounds, and well planning activities.
  • Assist in identifying exploration opportunities and evaluating subsurface uncertainties and risks.
  • Support reservoir performance analysis, forecasting, and resource assessments.
  • Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams including geoscientists, reservoir engineers, petroleum engineers, drilling engineers, and production specialists.
  • Ensure technical work is delivered with integrity, complies with company standards and requirements, and aligns with project schedules.
Who you are

We are looking for graduates who are curious, analytical, and eager to learn in a dynamic technical environment.
You will have:

  • A Master's degree in Geology, Geophysics, Earth Sciences, Reservoir Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • University study within a reasonable time frame and ideally at least one E&P internship
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
  • A collaborative mindset and a willingness to work across disciplines.
  • Fluent written and spoken English language skills, proficiency in another foreign language could be an advantage.
  • High flexibility and willingness to work internationally
  • A proactive approach to learning and professional development.
