Job summary

BW LPG seeks a Business Application Manager to own and optimize a global portfolio of ERP, purchasing, inventory, finance, trading, and ship management apps. You will drive end-to-end lifecycle management, from selection to sunset, aligning systems with business needs and compliance requirements.

You will work within the IT and Digitalization team in a small, agile setting, collaborating with stakeholders and IT vendors to deliver value and improvements across the platform.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field of technology or business.
• Excellent command of English.
• At least five years of relevant work experience.
• Background from management or IT consulting, application management, technology development or ERP implementations in a relevant industry.
• Experience with IT compliance (Sarbanes-Oxley) is an advantage.
• Understanding of IT and Business process architecture frameworks.
• Work permit in Norway.

Responsibilities

• Own our portfolio of ERP, purchasing, inventory, finance, trading, reporting, ship management and maintenance solutions.
• Define and monitor application KPIs and drive data quality improvements.
• Lead selection, development and deployment projects across the portfolio.
• Engage with vendors on product road maps and value realization.
• Ensure compliance and proper change control for releases.
