Job summary

BW LNG invites applications for the Business Control Manager to unite fleet operations, finance and performance insights. You will turn operational and financial data into actionable guidance, support management decisions and help lift performance across BW LNG’s global fleet.

The role emphasizes budgeting, KPI analysis, and cross‑functional collaboration in a hybrid Oslo environment with international exposure. Strong Excel/PowerPoint and Oracle BI experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Degree in economics, finance or related field.
• Experience in business controlling, performance analysis and financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; knowledge of Oracle BI/Oracle Cloud is preferred.
• Fluent in English and eligible to work in Norway.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze fleet performance including OPEX, drydocking and project costs.
• Translate performance data into insights and advise department heads on improvements.
• Lead fleet OPEX budgeting, forecasts and business planning.
• Prepare and present performance reporting for management and partners.
• Coordinate with Oracle BI and help develop shared ERP, planning and fleet reporting.
• Collaborate with Singapore team to harmonize routines and improve systems.
• Ensure compliance with chart of accounts and control costs.
