Job summary

Höegh Evi is seeking an Accounting Analyst to deliver high-quality accounting and control activities across entities. You will provide end-to-end accounting support, ensure compliance with internal controls, and collaborate with Corporate and Group Accounting, as well as external stakeholders.

The role emphasizes process improvements, audit readiness, and strong governance, coordinating between Manila, Oslo Group Accounting, and other teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Knowledge of IFS accounting system is an advantage.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently with moderate supervision.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management across international teams.
• Proven ability to identify process improvements and contribute to optimization.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Solution-oriented mindset and drive for results.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Ensure adherence to internal control frameworks and escalate gaps.
• Coordinate with Group Accounting and stakeholders for reporting.
• Support quarterly and annual reporting and audit readiness.
• Process and validate vendor invoices and customer billing.
• Oversee postings (including IFS) for accuracy.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and payments.
