Attensi is a Norwegian-born tech company delivering gamified simulation training across the globe. We design immersive learning experiences and run scalable systems on AWS, using Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, Kubernetes, and ArgoCD.

Qualifications

• Solid backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience with other languages like Python, Ruby, or C#.
• A good understanding of system design, scalability, security, and industry best practices.
• Experience with, or interest in, frontend development using React.
• Relevant education or equivalent practical experience.

This is a full-stack developer role where you’ll contribute across the stack; from backend services, CI/CD workflows, and cloud infrastructure to frontend features built with our internal design system. What You Will Do

• Design and build secure, scalable applications

Our backend infrastructure runs on AWS and includes technologies such as Node.js, Ruby on Rails, .NET Core, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, Kubernetes, and ArgoCD. You don’t need to know everything; strong fundamentals, curiosity and a willingness to learn matter most.

We’re curious and pragmatic about AI-assisted development. At Attensi, you’ll be able to use modern AI-enabled workflows as part of your day-to-day work, while still applying strong engineering judgement and taking ownership of the code you ship.

Who You Are

You’re a developer who enjoys building reliable software and taking ownership beyond just writing code. You care about how systems are designed, how they perform in production, and how they can be improved over time.

You probably have:

• Solid backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• Experience with other languages like Python, Ruby, or C#
• A good understanding of system design, scalability, security, and industry best practices
• Experience with, or interest in, frontend development using React
• Relevant education or equivalent practical experience
