Job summary

Nel Hydrogen in Norway is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead core finance activities and our Accounting Centre. You will oversee financial reporting, planning, forecasting and governance while partnering with the business to drive value.

You will also lead a small finance team, work closely with operational management and Group Finance to ensure financial transparency and strong controls across Norwegian entities. The preferred location is Notodden, with Oslo as an alternative.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of relevant finance, accounting, audit or controlling experience
• Experience leading a team or people leadership
• Strong financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and internal controls experience
• Experience partnering with operational stakeholders and turning financial information into insights
• Ability to manage and develop a small finance team and deliver through others
• Strong ERP, Excel and reporting-tool capabilities
• Good communication in Norwegian and English

Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting and closing activities for the Norwegian entities.
• Lead the Accounting Centre in Norway, coordinating accounting and reporting.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and cost control.
• Partner with operational management to turn financial information into actionable insights.
• Ensure strong governance, internal controls, statutory reporting and audits.
• Lead, coach and develop the finance team for high-quality delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement in finance processes and data quality.
