Job summary

CAI Software, LLC is seeking an experienced Finance Manager in Norway to drive financial performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and support strategic decision-making across the business. You will collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced software environment.

The role emphasizes managing day-to-day finance operations, budgeting, reporting, and process improvements while leading a small team and coordinating with external auditors and tax advisors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of Norwegian accounting standards, tax legislation, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Fluency in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management systems (SAP, NetSuite, Visma).
• Experience in intercompany accounting and group consolidation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end close for relevant group companies.
• Act as primary finance liaison toward the group leadership, including reporting, intercompany coordination, and participation in group-wide projects.
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with local Norwegian GAAP requirements.
• Assist the annual budgeting and forecasting process, working with department heads to set and track financial targets.
• Report and monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to ensure financial stability.
• Ensure full compliance with Norwegian tax regulations, VAT requirements, and statutory reporting obligations.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and other financial institutions.
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls and financial procedures.
• Provide financial analysis and business partnering support to senior management to inform strategic decisions.
• Drive process improvement and automation initiatives within the finance function.
• Manage intercompany accounting, group consolidation, and elimination processes across multiple legal entities.
• Own transfer pricing and intercompany pricing structures, including IP licensing arrangements between group entities, in coordination with internal tax resources and external advisors.
• Lead and coordinate the company's obligations under the Norwegian Transparency Act (Åpenhetsloven), including annual risk assessment, public statement, and supplier due diligence
