As Finance Director, you will report directly to the CFO and act as a close sparring partner in developing and professionalizing the finance function. The role combines operational responsibility with strategic initiatives and offers significant scope to drive change and improvement.

Key responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for accounting, reporting, internal control, and compliance at group level
  • Cash management, banking relations, and development of financing strategies
  • Further develop hedging strategies for currency and interest rate exposure
  • Strengthen and optimize credit policy, risk management, and group structure
  • Manage dialogue with external partners such as banks, auditors, insurers, and authorities
  • Drive improvements in systems, processes, and efficiency across the finance function
  • Build, lead, and develop a future-ready, high-performing finance team

Desired qualifications

  • Higher education within finance, accounting or economics
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in finance and accounting, preferably with group-level responsibility
  • Solid experience in cash management, treasury, and financial risk management
  • Strong competence in accounting, tax, audit, compliance, and internal control
  • Proven track record in developing and improving finance functions, systems, and processes
  • Strong business acumen and able to balance risk and growth, identify opportunities, and turn them into concrete financial actions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills and able to communicate complex financial matters in a clear way
