The Field Service Technician will perform complex field maintenance, installation, and repair on vital hydropower equipment to ensure long‑term, reliable energy generation.
You will act as a key technical presence in the field, working on equipment ranging from individual components to machines weighing up to 500 tons. You will be instrumental in the assembly of new generators, the revision of existing assets, and the execution of critical maintenance tasks—all while ensuring the highest standards of safety and operational excellence across project sites in Norway, Sweden, and Finland.

This is a permanent position based in our Lier office. We have a hybrid working model which gives you the flexibility to balance your time between project sites, our office, and home. Ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical systems, Ability to read and interpret technical documentation in English, Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, Full proficiency in Norwegian, Swedish or Danish, Good understanding of English, Expertise in maintenance or repair of rotating equipment, Willingness to travel extensively and work holidays/weekends/overtime, Mechanical trade certificate (fagbrev) is an advantage
