Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Turner or similar role.
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong knowledge of metalworking processes and materials.
• Proficient in using precision measuring instruments.
• Good physical stamina and ability to work with heavy machinery.
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality control.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate various machines such as lathes, drills, grinders, and milling machines
• Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine the specifications of the part
• Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate dimensions of the finished product
• Adjust machine settings for different materials and tolerances
• Inspect finished parts for quality control purposes
• Troubleshoot and solve any issues that may arise during production
