Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Turner or similar role.
• Proficient in reading engineering drawings and using precision measuring tools
• Strong knowledge of cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and materials used in turning
• Familiarity with various types of lathes such as CNC, manual, vertical/horizontal
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Biometric passport or eligibility to obtain one for international travel (if not local)

Responsibilities

• Operate lathe machine to shape metal parts according to engineering drawings
• Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment
• Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production
