Job summary

NTNU in Trondheim invites applications for a 2-year researcher position in the Department of Psychology within three externally funded projects. The role centers on studying citizen perceptions, data collection and quantitative analyses to inform risk and behavior interventions.

The successful candidate will design surveys, coordinate data collection, perform data cleaning and analyses, and contribute to research papers while collaborating with international partners.

Qualifications

  • A finished degree or PhD in psychology with a specialization in environmental psychology, social psychology, behavioural psychology or closely related fields
  • Excellent skills in data management, curation and complex statistical analysis (e.g. structural equation modelling)
  • Experience in empirical work in the field
  • Good written and oral English skills

Responsibilities

  • Design surveys, experiments and qualitative interviews with the respective project groups
  • Implementation of data collections (in cells4energy coordinated with an external technology provider for the internet platform)
  • Data cleaning and curation
  • Data analyses (mainly quantitative, but also qualitative)
  • Preparation of research papers based on the analyses
  • Feedback and coordination with the research partners
