Job summary

NTNU in Trondheim seeks a researcher in psychology for the Department of Psychology to work across three projects related to citizens, environment and safety. The role involves designing surveys and experiments, implementing data collection, and performing quantitative analyses with some qualitative components.

The position is two years, under external funding, with an emphasis on collecting perceptions and behavior using rigorous quantitative methods.

Qualifications

  • Finished degree or PhD in psychology with relevant specialisation.
  • Excellent data management, curation and complex statistical analysis.
  • Experience in empirical work in the field.
  • Good written and oral English skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design surveys, experiments and qualitative interviews with project groups.
  • Implement data collections in coordination with external providers.
  • Clean and curate data.
  • Analyze data, primarily quantitative with some qualitative work.
  • Prepare research papers based on analyses.
  • Provide feedback and coordinate with research partners.
