Laerdal Medical is seeking an Engineering Manager for Sim to Improve in Stavanger. You will lead a team of software engineers, contribute hands-on to coding, and shape a cloud-native SaaS architecture for an AI-powered healthcare platform.

You will mentor engineers, drive secure development, ensure code quality, and collaborate with Product, Design, AI specialists and clinical experts to turn pilot feedback into lasting product improvements.

Competenze

• Experience leading or mentoring engineers in a product-focused team.
• Strong C#/.NET in the cloud, preferably Azure.
• Frontend experience with React.
• Secure development experience (threat modelling, secure CI/CD).
• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent.

Mansioni

• Lead and develop engineers with clear direction and growth.
• Contribute hands-on through coding, design, code reviews, testing and delivery of production software.
• Own the engineering health of the platform: architecture, security, quality, reliability.
• Shape a cloud-native SaaS architecture built for scale, privacy and long-term maintainability.
• Turn pilot feedback into product and engineering improvements, balancing fast learning with sustainable choices.
• Ensure AI and data components are integrated securely with Laerdal's AI and Data teams.
• Build an inclusive team culture with shared ownership of outcomes.
