Job summary

Autodesk is seeking an Engineering Manager to grow talent within its AI-powered architecture design platform. You will spend ~70% on product development and ~30% on people leadership, mentoring engineers, setting standards, and removing blockers to maximize team impact.

You will lead a group of ICs across product teams, balancing technical judgment with people leadership, and ensuring high-quality delivery while enabling your engineers to grow and thrive in a matrix environment.

• Develop engineers across the organization while remaining a strong hands-on contributor

• Conduct regular one-on-ones, feedback cycles, and coaching conversations
• Participate in hiring and onboarding of engineers
• Remove blockers and advocate for your engineers
• Collaborate with product leads and peer managers to support team health
