Qualifications

  • Relevant experience within electrical engineering preferably for the maritime segment.
  • Fluent in English both verbally and written.
  • Preferred experience with IAS Systems.

Job description

Vard Electro`s Retrofit & Service unit seeks an Engineer - IAS who will be responsible for engineering work related to automation systems in modification projects. This includes overseeing project documentation preparation to ensure that it is completed in time and at full satisfaction of the customer. The person we are searching for should have an electrical background. You also need to have a problem-solving attitude – supporting Project Manager with project preparation and realization phases.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Responsibility for documentation, system manuals etc.
  • Responsibility for technical coordination with strong focus on IAS system for our modification and retrofit projects.
  • Customer Support
  • Support for our Service Engineers
  • Expected some travel domestic and abroad
Qualifications
  • College/university or Vocational School within Electro, preferably Automation/Control systems.
  • Relevant experience within electrical engineering preferably for the maritime segment.
  • Language; English fluent both verbally and written.
  • Preferred experience with IAS Systems.
  • Preferred experience within the maritime segment
